While eye exams generally include a look at the front of the eye to evaluate health and prescription changes, a thorough screening of the retina is critical to verify that your eye is healthy. This can lead to early detection of common diseases, such as glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, and even cancer. The exam is quick, painless, and may not require dilation drops.

The TearLab Osmolarity Test utilizes a temperature-corrected impedance measurement to provide an indirect assessment of osmolarity. After applying a lot-specific calibration curve, osmolarity is calculated and displayed as a quantitative numerical value.

Automatic Refractor, Keratometer and Corneal topographer, Optical Path Difference (OPD) and Wavefront Analysis all in one computer device.

Replacing the standard refractor, this is the latest generation of electronic refraction technology which enhances the patient experience through a more modern and accurate refraction.

M&S acuity system is a high-tech alternative to chart projectors. Our LCD acuity computer chart provides effective and efficient acuity testing. Compare to the projector, Optometry visual acuity test has improved so much! Plus, we don't have to climb the ladder and replace the projector light bulb any more!!

Optovue's research, product development and clinical teams are dedicated to developing technology that helps doctors manage treatment options for patients suffering from ocular diseases. In just a few seconds our painless and non-invasive OCT and OCTA imaging scans can give your doctor a comprehensive view of your ocular health.

The visual-evoked potential (VEP) is a patient friendly, non-invasive vision testing. VEP objectively measures the neurological responses of visual pathway. The result help in the interpretation and diagnosis of vision deficits and tracking disease progression.

TelSreen Slit-lamp video camera is the computer syslem for slit lamp photography and video recording. We have it in both of our exam rooms so every patient and family can view the fine detail of their eyes. This allow detection of slight changes of corneal findings, such as resolving eye infections and removing foreign body. By projecting the images to a LCD screen, these photos can also serve as excellent teaching tools for patients to explain everything from meibomian gland disease to cataracts.

Our brand new retinal camera includes the Aurofluorescence (FAF) and the digital filter porcessing. FAF makes it easy to monitor Macular waste (lipofuscin) which can accumulate in the Retinal Pigment Epithelial (RPE). Different filters allow us to evaluate differnt layers in your retina. If you are a photoprapher, this camera incorporates a large, high definition CMOS sensor with 18.0 Megapixels.

Frequency doubling technology (FDT) provides rapid, clinically verified method for the detection of visual field loss including Glaucoma, MS, stroke or RP.

We stopped using the dreaded "air-puff" test to measure intra-ocular pressure (or what some people call the "Glaucoma test") for many years now. While most patients don't mind soft air puff and Tono-pen, some just couldn't stand the idea of anything touching their eyes, even when they are numb. Others think any type of eye drops is torture. Fortunately, we now have the I-Care Tonometer to measure IOP without shooting the puff of air into your eyes or using numbing drops!! No puff, No drops and accurate, we love this kinder, gentler way of Glaucoma test.

Ocular Response Analyzer® (ORA) is the only device that measures Corneal Hysteresis (CH), a superior predictor of glaucoma progression. Corneal Hysteresis is an indication of the biomechanical properties of the cornea differing from thickness or topography, which are geometrical attributes.
