Dr. Aaron Lewis grew up in Keene, New Hampshire, where his childhood optometrist first inspired him to become an eye doctor. Following that path, he studied Neuroscience at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. He then studied at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry. His optometric rotations included specialized training in ocular disease at the Manchester VA Hospital. He also trained at the Perkins School for the Blind, where he worked with patients with advanced stages of vision loss. At the New England College of Optometry’s flagship training clinic, he gained experience fitting specialty contact lenses for the treatment of various corneal diseases as well as myopia control. During his free time, Dr. Lewis enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and taking care of his small flock of chickens.
